Starting in early July 2025, the school is offering a rewarding opportunity to join their team as a Lunchtime Playground Assistant on a 12-month, term-time only contract to cover maternity leave. If you're someone who can bring energy, care, and a sense of fun to children's lunchtimes, this could be the perfect role for you.

About our school

In September 2017, New Generation Schools Trust opened a new primary school in Southampton city centre for children aged 4-11. This exciting and innovative school is school of Christian designation, open to children of any and no faith.

Hope Community School, Southampton is the first mainstream free school in Southampton and was set up in response to a widely recognised need for an additional educational choice and the need for community cohesion.

We now have over 200 enthusiastic, kind and adventurous pupils who we are determined to help become the 'movers and shakers' of their generation.
