“Whether this lockdown has been hard for you or not, know God sees you and loves you. If it is a tough season, why not let him know and try praying?”
Cath Cathwick shares a message with us today....When we're in dark places, or having to go through a period of waiting, we can feel like it's the end and it's hopeless...but the best is often yet to come. The wait is worth it and something beautiful comes out of the darkness. Hang in there and wait for your butterfly wings!
Our thought of the day comes from Rachel Comer a member of New Community Church.
Today our thought for the day is from Sue Boniface, Family and Parenting Lead at Southampton City Council
“Every hug, smile, story or game shared with your child strengthens them.”
At Hope Community School we are very enthusiastic about reading and we encourage the children to use the books in class to learn and build on their reading skills as they develop.
To assist and help grow our school library we would ask parents to consider the donation of a book on their child’s birthday as a variation to bringing in treats for the children.
If you would like to donate a book please make a selection from those listed in the links below:
If you would like to see a hard copy of the book lists, please find these displayed in the foyer outside the school office.
We would like to thank you in advance for your donation.
