Contract / Hours: Fixed term (12mths Maternity Cover), 8.75 hours a week (Term Time Only 39 weeks) Mon – Fri 11.45 – 13.30

We are looking to appoint an exceptional, enthusiastic and dedicated Lunchtime Playground Assistant to join our team on a maternity cover basis. This position plays a vital part in ensuring that our pupils enjoy lunchtimes that are safe, healthy and fun, both in the dining area and during play.

About the Role
The successful candidate will:

• Supervise younger pupils while they eat their lunch
• Help to tidy and clean the dining area after lunch
• Supervise children during playtime, indoors or outdoors, ensuring their safety and wellbeing
• Support positive behaviour and handle incidents appropriately in line with the school's Behaviour Policy
• Respond to playground accidents and follow school procedures for first aid and incident reporting
