Hope Community School, Southampton officially opened its doors to pupils for the first time today, after a summer of transformation for Central Hall.
Starting with a day of settling in sessions for the new Year R class, the children have spent either the morning or afternoon getting to know their brand new classrooms in the school's temporary site, which will remain at Central Hall for the next two years.
Construction work to develop the site started back in June, with contractors completely redesigning the area and essentially starting from scratch to create a fit for purpose school environment, which includes - four classrooms, a medical room, office spaces and outside playground.
There are some before and after pictures here on the New Community website.
